On April 2, 2020, the USPS released the Contemporary Boutonniere Forever stamp in Crestwood, Kentucky. This stamp is part of the USPS’s efforts to provide elegant options for mailing wedding RSVP cards, party invitations, thank-you notes, and announcements. The stamp features a photograph of a boutonniere composed of a burgundy mini-cymbidium orchid bloom, a succulent, and a touch of green hydrangea, accented with loops of variegated lily grass. The floral arrangement was crafted by Carol Caggiano, photographed by Renée Comet, and the stamp was designed by art director Ethel Kessler.
